Thirty minutes a week for your littles to pause, reset, connect, move and breath! Now more than ever we need to teach compassion to our children. I will guide your littles to breathe, move through some fun poses, and then settle into stillness. Let’s give the gift of yoga to our kids so that they can have lifelong coping tools to help them manage stress and other big feelings. Plus, yoga can be a fun little activity during these winter months in a pandemic (and maybe a 30 minute break for you!). Give your kids the gift of feeling good in their bodies and mind.

About Kara:
Kara completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2011 with Kate Greer and Lynne Begier at Back Bay Studio in Boston, Mass. She completed her Children’s Yoga certification shortly after with Marsha Therese on the North Shore, Mass. She is grateful to have been taught by these teachers as well as other inspiring teachers in the last decade including: Kat Mansfield, Willa Worsfold, Erin Carney, Annakathryn Carlson and Georgia Reath. Kara's purpose as a teacher is to share her love of yoga and guide others to a place in the body and mind where one can feel less anxiety and heal tight muscles (all things she practices herself!).
She graduated from Boston College in 1999 and then studied design at the New England School of Art & Design while working and living in Boston. She now lives in Manchester with her husband and two children. Yoga has helped her tight muscles after a run, but more importantly helped her learn what it means to be calm and present as a mom, wife and friend. Yoga is a constant learning experience and an evolving practice for Kara and one that she wants to offer to others.
