What stories do you believe about your body? How have these stories changed over the years? What narratives are yours truly? Which stories did you inherit? Which stories hurt? Which stories feel good? What evidence do you need to uphold/bust your stories?
These are the kinds of questions we will explore in our time together on June 29. There will be journaling, sharing, and a short, closing meditation. The intention of the discussion is two-fold: to name and clear old stories that get in our way of living with greater ease; and to reach across the mantle and do this work in community reminding us that we are not alone.
We will revisit some of the themes from The Body Is Not an Apology and apply them to our own lives.
